wow man wow... this is a bloody awesome surprise. just saw teaser today and 
liked the music in it and just for the sake of curiosity checked the wikipedia 
page and OMG it says ARR there. then immediately checked the group mails 
(didn't check for last couple of weeks, also due to reason that i was so 
disappointed and upset for Enthiran and didn't want to read anything about it) 
and in peace to see the confirmation. i am soo happy. this 
is totally fantastic news. here is the big Hollywood project we all were 
looking for after SdM. all my sorrows for Enthiran are gone now.

Rahman never forgets to surprise me with his music and projects and I throughly 
enjoy his songs and selections he makes.

If Endhiran is a BIG pressure on him and he delivers BIG time, then I can 
imagine the expectation 127 hours has created. Even BIGGER and am sure he will 
come out even BIGGER. No matter how the movies turnout I always admire and 
respect ARR for the courage and giving his best for every project.

For people criticizing him, please be considerate and put urself in Rahman's 
shoe before commenting. Its easy to be on this side of the fence and make arji 
baaji's.

I have marked 2 important dates in my calendar, Sep last week and now Nov first 
week.

Absolutely! .. and the score might not even be released on CD. Its better to

This is funny. After reading about the Matt Dunkley info that was mentioned in 
this group I posted it on Filmscoremonthly and credited the group. And now I 
see 
the exact sentence I used being posted back here ("In reply to a question... 
").

Anyways while this is good news for ARR fans, one does feel a bit sorry for 
John 
Murphy who used to be Boyle's previous composer of choice. Just listen to his 
scores for 28 days later, Millions and Sunshine, and you'll come across a 
unique 
talent. I thought that the 127 hours project was a slam dunk for Murphy.

BTW I hope no one is expecting songs in the movie. It a serious film almost 
like 
a documentary. Don't expect songs and be disappointed later.

Still media doesn't have any clue, once they got, will start over-hyping it.
And people will start expect Another Jai Ho, O saya, Ringa. etc
And when they will not get the same stuffs and starts blaming.
Album missing soul, this, that  not up to the mark . ARR miss his Midas 
touch and what else

May be for that reason, Gopal keeps this news as surprise.
