I don't think ANY composer in India can compose a like like Puthiya Manitha the 
with the same arrangements, sound, mood, spirituality that Rahman has composed 
in that combination.  Sure, any MD can create a melody like that, but this song 
is a masterpiece IMO for many reasons that only Rahman can imbue.

Puthiya Manitha is a superb song.. But ANY composer can India can compose
like that...Even Shankar Ehsaan Loy, or any upcoming composer. But NOT
EVERYONE can compose a Konjum NIlavu, Thee Thee, Varugirai (Aah aah),
ennavale, Veerapandi, Vennilaa Venillaa or any track of that sort. Only ARR
can!
No one here wants ARR to repeat or rehash his old work. We only want him to
give tracks which are innovatively equivalent to masterpieces like thiruda
thiruda, rangeela, iruvar etc.

First time a Rajni intro songs starts in slow phase, but story changes when SPB

Rajini walks fast, talks fast, has a unique style! So, Oruvan Oruvan
had all the elements suiting that. On the other hand, Robo walks slow,

had all the elements suiting that. On the other hand, Robo walks slow,
