Rafael,
We are actually undergoing that upgrade at the moment without issue. Remedy
doesn't seem to notice a change at all...

Hello everyone,
In our test server we get the errors below when the user is trying to modify
the incident. In the production environment we get these same errors when the
user is trying to reassign the incident to another support group.
ARERR [330] You do not have write access to field :
I think you need to add the person to the General Access group in the User form.
Usually the person is added to General Access once you set the person as
Support staff but we have on occasion have seen this group removed (possibly
when we term their account and have to re-enable a account).
We did exactly what you are doing (although we were on a different ARS patch) a
year or two ago and everything went smoothly. There is no need to reinstall
ARS as it uses the same SQL driver to make the connection.

Does anyone know of a bug in Escalations? As soon as I disable Escalations the
server processes level off and life is good except my escalations do not work
of course. I enable Escalations and the memory runs up and the ARS server
dies. ?

I am looking to Federate a 7.5 CMDB with another data store, and am looking
at using the CMDBf adapter that BMC provides (JDBC is not an option,
unfortunately). Does anyone have any tips to share regarding its use? The
manuals are kinda sparse on it, and the BMCDN has been NO help. I have read

Listers,
I would like to restrict a user to only certain forms on a server without
having to write an AL for every form to check the user. I would want this user
to be a restricted read. Any suggestions ?
Thanks,

Dear friends,
I am representing racks of book shelf as a table grid in Remedy. Each
grid/record is a single unit.some units are ocuupied and some are free. I
need to find out the largest available/free block in that Grid.
Any help will be highly appreciated!

Your best bet is to maintain this information in separate content table (like
your file system does). When you occupy a block, you go and update your content
table. This way you can allways select MAX() and have the largest block. You
can certainly write some complicated sql statement to do so

We are worrying about the Windows user tool.

You could build just one AL that is shared on all the forms you wish to

minor visual changes.

Hi,
Via the admin tool, we can see the list of users who are log in to the
server ; File--Licenses--Manage User Licenses.
However, we also want to know which client they are using- either Window
user tool or Web.
Is there a way we can get this information?
Thanks,
Andrew

What if the user logs on to both? I'm wondering what would be the value of this
information even if you could get it. You can get it by having some sort of a
check box information available for each kind of client, to be checked if the
user is on it nor not and set this during logon using

Guys,
Wondering if you can help me out.

tier separated by a firewall. There is one load balancer in front of the
