Hmm interesting because we did not see any of the issues listed in your
post.
May be our oracle client version is not the same as in your post.
I am not an expert on oracle internals other than what ever remedy is
needed.
Recently we upgraded our env from version 7.1 to 8.0.002 in RedHat Linux
Hi,
Entries from AST:AssetPeople are missing.
Do we have to reload spreadsheets?
Or is there a way through workflow to get this data populated?
Is there a way to automatically load this?

I recently asked a friend to install ARS8 onto a new Linux box.
(I asked him cause I knew it would not be easy - and he used to work for
Oracle - and he is a wizard -- so I knew he would get over any hurdles)
I thought I would share his findings - as it looks to have been no fun:

Our server team isn't even in a hurry to look at 2012. They downloaded it
but haven't build a 2012 server yet.

Hi All & TGIF,
Ok, I don't know what I did and glad it happened on the dev server. When I log
onto ITSM through a browser, I get the Overview Console and all looks well.
When I select the Applications tab on the left it says No applications or entry
points.
Any ideas where to even start?

Hi Vikram :)Ok cool :)As for the mapping error I don't know we didn't have much those kind of errors actually. I know that mapping can be re-freshed from time to time (should be "cache check interval" in DSO tab in Server Information). We had some issues when server B wasn't available, it generat
Thad Esser That's Brilliant, I did a set field with 1=1 and count =

Thank you very much

Sounds like you already have an answer, but one other option would be to do
a set fields in combination with LASTCOUNT.
Action 1:
Set Fields where requestid != $ NULL$ (or some other qualification
that causes a search for all the records you want to count),
tempchar = requestid
hi Laurent,
It just perfectly worked for me... but still the intermittent No Mapping errors
will be a cause of concern. Any ideas on that?

They aren't copied into the table. You setup the table to point to the form
and setup a qualification.
E.g., the Work info table in ITSM points to the TMS:WorkInfo form with a
qualification of 'TaskOrTaskGroupInstanceId' = $InstanceId$

Thank you Anusha, Direct SQL seems to be good solution I will try that,
Christie, it is a good idea to have a hidden table, but how wil records in
form be copied in the table ?

Another option is to put a hidden table on the form and then refresh the table
and do a COLCOUNT($Field$) to get the count too.

You can include the SELECT statement in a Set field action using the data
source as SQL. Since the application already has access to the DB, you don't
need additional access to the DB.
Thanks,

If you have database access, then it's quite straight forward.
Select count (*) from Tx --> x is a schemaid of a desire form.

Hi All,
I need your help in counting records in a form
I have an EIE instance that pushes some records to a form, and I wanted to

I have created a display only integer field "count"

prioritizing Windows 2012 defect fixes / support. If uptake is slow, such
defect fixes would be given a lower priority or deferred to later delivery
