Hi All,
I am running ARS/ITSM 7.0 and would like to know the steps to send custom and
out-of-the-box notifications in Japanese language.
In addition to installing japanese language pack, what else do i need to do, in
order to receive and send notifications in Japanese?

Never tried this, but just a thought.
Set the locale to japaneese on people records so that when sys:notification
messages is looked up, lookup criteria includes locale.
Since you mentioned custom notifications, assuming you the messages are
placed in sys:notification messages fork, create new
ITSM 764 sp2

We are having an issue where sometimes the email engine cannot connect to the
mailhost to send mail. It appears to be an issue on the mail server were there
are too many connections. When this happen the email engine will send thousands
of errors to the server log file

1) user logging to see what is being used and when.
2)RRR tool is the best for analysis but you should run user log for 6 weeks or
so to get a good picture
3) Log in to BMC support and go to License/request license and you can see what
you should have by support ID
4) BMC may not be your best
what is the version does BMC recommend..?

My mid-tier is on 7.6.04 SP4 201309051922. IE8 9 work well. If a user has
IE10 or later then they must use compatibility mode. Firefox also works. Google
Chrome (not supported) is used by some and I have not heard any complaints.

that doesn't work in when you go to the Search Knowledge base and put
something in. The system can't seem to handle the icons BMC built for
the results list. On Chrome was can use the global search (upper right

I would recommend one at a time.if you check the BMC docs on this I
believe the order is 'Primary' first, then shut it down, and do each server
as the only server active in the group, one at a timebut it's been
awhile since I read the docs.
