ARS 6.3 with RHEL5 and oracle 10g Client

Hello,

Due to some reason we have to migrate our current AR Server 6.3 path 24 Solaris 
OS to RHEL 5  OS and keep ARS 6.3 environment running until  Aug 2012 (upgrade 
to 7.6.4 will be completed by that time). 

Remedy compatibility matrix doesn’t states support of RHEL5 and we would like 
to hear community view on it.

Current setup for ARS 6.3 patch 24

•     AR Server : ARS 6.3 patch 24
•     ITSM: 6.0
•     OS : Solaris
•     Oracle client : Oracle 9i release 2
•     Remote dB Server : Oracle 10g

Future setup for ARS 6.3 patch 24 

1.      We want to migrate ARS 6.3 patch 24 host from Solaris to RHEL 5
2.      RHEL 5 doesn’t support oracle 9i client therefore oracle 10g Client 
is required to connect remote 10g dB

o       AR Server : ARS 6.3 patch 24
o       ITSM: 6.0
o       OS : RHEL5
o       Oracle client : Oracle 10g
o       Remote dB Server : Oracle 10g

Kindly provide your view on above mentioned points.
