I don't remember the output exactly but I remember we had problems with the
make test during our install of ARS Perl.
I read somewhere that the make test doesn't work in all cases and was buggy.
We went ahead with the make install, and everyting works fine. So you might
want to try the make
What compiler are you using?
I was able to successfully compile and run the make tests with the following:
gcc (GCC) 3.3.2
Configured with: ../configure --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as
--with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --disable-nls
Thread model: posix
SunOS 5.9 sun4u sparc

I am trying to install ARS perl using perl verion 5.6.1 using ARS 6.03 patch
18 on Solaris. I am getting the following errors when running make test.
