Description Position code 11000CY6. Software Developer position, focused on application configuration and administration of BMC Remedy ITSM technologies, as part of Dell's IT Infrastructure Services organization. Candidate must have basic analytical and communication skills. Technical skills must include application administration knowledge based on the BMC Remedy ARS 7.x platform and ITSM suite. Job duties include set up and maintenance of Service Management application configurations and foundation data, ensuring proper data controls are in place according to security guidelines, maintaining current knowledge of application functionalities, looking for opportunities to maximize value of the application suites by matching under-utilized or unused features to practical use cases. Administer and maintain Remedy forms in an existing system. Add and maintain System users, access control groups and set up administrative domain for users. Enforce data related escalation polices using AR System facilities. Import data from other sources into Remedy. Maintains and tracks licenses and runs basic reports. Create Admin related Support Groups for ITSM applications and maintains user access and controls to admin support groups. Performs User access provisioning and frequent support group membership reviews. Reviews and updates Standard Operating Procedures for Remedy. Coordinates resolution of issues requiring BMC support. Qualifications 2-4 years of hands-on experience with administration of Remedy Action Request System (ARS) version 6x or higher, with specific focus on the ITSM Suite, ITSM 7.x. and 3+ years of general IT experience.
