Whilst testing the import of CIs from ADDM 8.1.01 (Tideway) I noticed that the Normalization Engine (NE) does not process data in two of the classes.
Both these classes are categorization subclasses. ADDM 8.1.01 uses the CMDB API so I tested further by creating instances using cmdbdriver. My tests showed that the NE does not process categorization subclass CIs created via the CMDB API but does process them if they are created directly on the relevant BMC.CORE:BMC_... join form. Can anyone confirm this behaviour?
