you did....just that we are preparing to move to 7.5... not there yet

Adding the PATH in the system environment worked on removing the
WebService.dll: The specified module could not be found.
We are now getting a new error which has to do with our DNS I think. We
are using the same alias we did before we moved the application to the new
server. Asked the MSE guys to make sure the DNS were all fixed
accordingly.... Now we are getting:
ARERR [8760] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System
Plug-In server

Depending on from where I ping the alias I get a different response from 2
different servers.....

So back to the MSE guys here

Thanks all for your help!!!

Pascale,
In 7.5, the Web Services plugin runs in the JAVA plugin, not C….this
causes a few ‘changes’ in how you run things….first off…you don’t turn the
logs on/off with the admin console anymore…you turn them on/off in the
.properties file….and I haven’t honestly played much….but I don’t think
you can turn them on/off ‘mid’ run like you could with the C versions….and
you need to look into the proper log file to get the output from it…..but
none of that addresses your dll error…which you shouldn’t be getting,
because you shouldn’t be trying to load both the c (dll) and the java
(jar) at the same time…

I think I may have found the problem, but I don't remember how to fix it
:o(

If I launch the arplugin from the DOS I get a JVM.dll missing error. But
it is there in the java\bin\client folder.
If I set the path when in DOS I do see
D:\Program Files\CAC AR System>arplugin -m
Action Request System(R) Plug-In Server Version 7.0.01 Patch 008
200805271830
Copyright (c) 2001 - 2006 BMC Software, Inc.
All rights reserved.
Loaded Web Services plugin properly

So I am now guessing I need to add this to my system PATH... just don't
remember how...

Anyone?
