Re: Archive-Delete possiblities for SLM forms

Hi Madhu,

The value of this data depends entirely on your organization’s desires. They,
like a bunch of other data in other forms are part of Incidents, Changes, etc.

So, to be absolutely correct, they should be deleted (archived) when their
corresponding tickets (root requests) are archived rather than simply a date
query. However, these particular tables will likely not often be referenced
and your organisation will likely say that they are not needed. Get that
approval first.

Meta-Archive for an ITSM Incident

If you are interested in a complete Archiving solution that will handle all
related data of each root request, then our Meta-Archive will make it simple
for you. No changes to the Remedy server are needed at all: no workflow, no
forms, no escalations.

Our Meta-Archive will also check a ticket’s associations so that open
associated tickets do not have missing data and report them in a spreadsheet.

Adding your own customized tables is as simple as adding a row to a
spreadsheet. You can also set different rules for different customers or
classes of tickets.

Subject: Archive-Delete possiblities for SLM forms

Hi List,

Can anyone suggest me the Archive-Delete possiblities for below SLM forms?.

SLM:AuditLog

SLM:Measurement

SLM:MilestoneLogging

We found many Entries in the above forms , since the Database size is growing
we want to go for Archive-Delete option. Please let me if you foresee any
impact if we archive-Delete these records.

Regards

Madhu
