Robert,

No, the update did not include the azimuthally random oriented (ARO) ice particle.

For ice habits, the update covered only totally random orientation. But also introduced ARO data for non-spherical rain drops.

Bye,

Patrick

Hello,

I saw the latest update on the ARTS scattering database for version 1.1.0, and that the DDA calculations at low frequencies used a higher eps value. I was wondering if these updated calculations also include the azimuthally random oriented ice particles or if only the totally random ice particle calculations have been updated. The online archive for the oriented particle calculations (https://zenodo.org/record/3727673#.YG9omi2cai4) suggests that the latest update was in 2019.

Thank you,

Robert Schrom
