*Job Role : Sr. Project Manager * *Location: West Bend WI* *Duration: 6 Months * Role description: Facilitate effective project, program and/or portfolio management. Responsible for leading, coaching and supporting the activities of project team, assigning appropriate resources needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects using approved process methodologies and tools, within approved variances and change management. Mentor and collaborate with other project managers. Lead projects of large to very large size, medium to high risk and/or complexity and/or of strategic nature. Create, maintain, and manage deliverables appropriate for project rigor that lead to desired outcomes with vendors and sponsors. Manage project risks and issues with appropriate mitigations and actions plans. Ensure strategic projects/programs align to corporate strategy and business case. Coordinate proof-of-concepts and vendor selection. Facilitate effective contract negotiations. Assist with other project support processes and activities as needed, such as ideation, organizational change management and project benefit realization. Analyze and find solutions to complex problems in an unpredictable environment. Preferred Experience and Skills • Minimum of ten years of proven success in leading teams and/or managing complex programs/projects • Excellent understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge in specific technical areas and/or project management practice • Experience with Daptiv or other PPM tools • Experience with MS Project or other project scheduling tools • Experience with MS Office • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills • Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills • Excellent analytical, collaborative and creative problem-solving abilities • Strong organization and time management skills • Ability to work well independently, in a team atmosphere and in a cross functional environment • Detail orientated, but capable of seeing “big picture” • Ability to apply standard Project Management methodologies and understand SDLC • Insurance industry knowledge Preferred Education and Training • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business or Computer Science • PgMP, PMP or other Accreditation/Certification in Project Management • Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation Ravi Kumar K 630-364-1716 rko...@aptude.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Companies Looking for IT Out Staffing & Recruitment" group.
