*Job Title: Build & Deployment engineer* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Location: Augura Hills, Los Angeles, CA* Job Description This is a Configuration, Build, Deployment, and Environment Management support position (not a developer position). Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (and/or equivalent experience). 5+ years of Configuration, Build, Deployment, and Environment Management or Systems-Development experience including Web, .NET, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, Web Services, XML. Hardware Infrastructure, LAN, and System Development Life Cycle; IT Architecture; Maintaining/Building tools for interpreting data from event management systems, performance data, configuration data and Change Management; RDBMS (Oracle & SQL Server), Web Servers, load balancing, SAN, Visual Studio, TFS, MSBuild, Perl scripting and Java scripting; Building out and maintaining Disaster Recovery environments. Linux knowledge a plus. Agile knowledge a plus. UrbanCode Deploy knowledge a plus. ElectricFlow knowledge a plus. Enterprise Level design/development experience including high availability, load balanced systems. Strong problem solving, analytical and communications skills related to a business support environment. Strong written and oral communications skills. Must handle stress very well and be familiar with sensitivity of 24x7 support of a financial system. Must have a solid understanding of the Software development life cycle. Job Activities Provide application configuration, build, deployment, and environment management and support services for lower level and production Windows/.NET application environments. Provide lower level environment triage and troubleshooting for Windows/.NET application environments. Maintain system security including management of SSL and Client Certificates. Deploy/set up and maintain websites, including FDNS, Firewall and Load Balancing (VIP’s). Orchestration of changes across servers, tiers and components.
