Our client is in search of a tenured SQL DBA that understands how .NET interacts with their systems (perhaps was in development for a while), who can be client facing while also managing a team of 4 off-shored .NET Developers. *Key Skills:* · SQL DBA experience · Excellent communication/has been client facing · .NET experience · Manufacturing experience · Managerial experience · Pluses: PLCs What are the top three most important technologies this person needs to be familiar with? 1)SQL 2).NET 3)Data driven/manufacturing based software development What are the 3 most common day-to-day activities this person will partake in? 1) working with off-shore developers to help develop/implement client software solutions 2)communicate with the internal business unit and help with support the internal legacy systems 3) help with any necessary mobile development and manage day to day team activities *Job Description: * Looking for a seasoned and proven Software Developer that will report to the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics. The Developer will be responsible for ongoing support of the current software infrastructure, and inherited legacy systems. In addition the Software Developer will take an active role in scope research and development, software integration & development of new applications and will provide guidance to internal staff, and clients/customers as directed by the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics. An understanding of business process development is a plus. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have proven success working with Manufacturing Operations personnel while defining both business and technical objectives. *Preferred Responsibilities:* · Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience within, software integration, ERP, EDI, Inventory Management, Quality Systems or manufacturing systems integration. · A proven track record in successfully completing complex system projects on time and within budget. · Exceptional client relationship skills, including superb written and oral communication skills · Understanding of the complexity of data driven manufacturing and software development in the following areas..Net, C#, Java, SQL, MySQL, .ASM, .ASP, Mobile application development, Web Services, and cross platform integration.
