Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry *standard testing tools like HP Load Runner, Performance Center, JMeter etc.* 2. Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, types of system performance tests and their goals. 3. Executes performance test, analyze and evaluate test results; generate performance metric reports and provide recommendations. 4. Strong background in system engineering, performance tuning, bottleneck identification and root cause analysis. 5. Strong experience with *various protocols including Siebel-Web, Windows socket, Webservice, HTTP/HTML. *6. Work with functional Tester and Development counterparts to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming releases and keep up-to data with system changes that impact performance testing. 7. Participates in system architecture change reviews and assessment of system capacity impacts. Benchmarks system performance. 8. Strong understanding with system and application monitoring concepts (perform counters, EM12c, any other diagnostic utilities). 9. Strong understanding of Server, Network, Virtualization and Database concepts. 10. Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, types of system performance tests and their goals. 11. *Experience working with Linux/Unix OS and knowledge of commands.* 12. Experience with the writing of SQL queries. 13. Good knowledge of C/C++, Java, Unix Shell Scripting etc. 14. Experience with SPLUNK a Plus. 15.
