*Responsibilities Include:* *• Provide Application installation and troubleshooting of VMware Horizon Suite of products – such as provisioning server, desktop delivery control, virtual desktop images/target devices. * *• Develop and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for VDI environment.* *• Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.* *• Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.* *• Troubleshoots and resolve complex VDI problems.* *• Provide advice and training to VDI operations which is responsible for:* *o The analysis, administration and supports of Desktops, Thin Clients.* *o The diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with PCs, software, communications devices.* *o Responding to End User requests for technical support and assistance within established procedures.* *o Providing support and assistance to Tier 1 & 2 staff in the delivery of End User support and Systems Maintenance.* *o Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.* *o Responding to escalated for technical assistance.* *Technical Requirements:* *• Experience with configuration, installation and testing of VMware Horizon View 6+Enterprise Edition, Including:* *o View Desktop Connection Server with integrated View Administrator.* *o View Desktop Composer* *o View Security Server* *o Horizon Identity Manager* *o VMware vRealize Operations Manager for Horizon* *o Horizon User Environment Management for Windows (UEM)* *o VMware App Volumes for application layering* *o Working Knowledge of ESXi platform* *• Proven experience designing, implementing and managing VDI Environments using VMWare.* *• Minimum of five years of experience with MS SQL Server, MS IIS, and PowerShell script writing to the windows and Citrix platforms a plus.* *Additional Skills:* *• Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to effectively communicate both orally and through written presentations to transfer knowledge to both upper management and senior executives.* *• Must be able to express findings and recommendations clearly to differing levels of business and technical management at the customer and MassIT, both verbally and in writing* *• A demonstrated willingness to learn and enthusiasm for technology* *Certifications:* *• VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 (Minimum) / VMware Certified Implementation Expert 6 (Preferred)* *• Microsoft certifications a plus* *o Windows XP Professional/Vista/Windows 7/ Windows 10* *-- * *Thanks & Regards* *Ranjith* *Ph:(925) 973-0000 x 232(Off) * *Email: ranj...@allianceit.com <ranj...@allianceit.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Companies Looking for IT Out Staffing & Recruitment" group.
