So, I've been running ASSP 1.x for many years now. I just upgraded to 1.9.9
today.
(I was on 1.9.3.7 for quite a while and it started crashing lately - the last
thing in the log was an inbound SMTP connection and it was the same IP both
times, so presumably that remote SMTP connection was killing me.)

Should I bite the bullet and bump to 2.x?

I haven't really followed the 2.x release, AFAIK the big thing is that it's
capable of multithreading?
I don't think I really need that - I'm averaging ~3000 emails/day and have no
performance issues.

How painful is the switchover? Can I do it in place on my current box, or
should I rebuild?

Are there details on making the switch if I should do it?
