Telephony Asterisk Application Developer Responsibilities Design and develop custom telephony applications for Asterisk Design and create custom telephony specifications Build and manage statistical reporting engine Create large scaleable conference bridging applications Manage billing and network management issues Demonstrate professional maturity and flexibility by working with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines. Demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring excellent code quality and documentation Requirements At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Asterisk Understanding of telephony technologies such as VoIP, IVRs, audio formats essential At least 3+ years experience with Perl, PHP Linux experience essential SQL database skills (MySQL preferred) Familiarity with Open Source Environments Self motivated, highly proactive and reliable. Team player. Ability to excel under pressure. Experience with software development methodology, source code control, bug tracking system. BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent.
