Hi,
I've recently installed Asterisk 1.6.2.13. I'd like to connect GSM Trunk to
it. I purchased a few Mobigater ProOpen gateways. It states that I should
use chan_celliax module to it. On the gsmopen site I see a comment in the
documentation that I can install the module on Asterisk 1.2.x,
Hi Alexis,
Thanks for for answer. This is the master node debug, asterisk zaptel
starts correctly when I start it manual. The HA config is the same for both
nodes. There is an strange event:

Hi,
Asterisk is making a call to a peer. In 200 ok, peer is sending its
application server ip in contact field, so asterisk sends ACK to that IP.
RTP starts flowing between endpoints and peer plays an IVR and asks for
destination number. After entering destination number peer's application

Patrick,
I observed this same behavior on a system a few weeks ago. If Asterisk
was not running, the CPU load would be normal. There were no 'failed'

Hi Chad,
Thanks for your suggestions.
However I believe decreasing logging, its just like closing your eyes and

decreased logging will prevent from troubleshooting any other problems in
the future.
Would you happen to know any
Hi,
Sorry for maybe not a very list related topic, but I have always been curious
if there is information on how many Asterisk based PBXs are operating Worldwide?
Thanks and hope the community will not reject my curiosity! :)

Thanks! What I managed to learn from one article is:
Asterisk PBX has about 18% of the World market share of PBXs.
Asterisk claims 75% of the World market share for Open Source PBXs.

This must be quite a lot I believe, and I do agree

What the score with IPv6 in Asterisk now? I've had a google about and
found the http://www.asteriskv6.org/ site but if the filename on the
download link is anything to go by its a few years old... (And a weird
anti-download firewall!)
Cheers,

I have two questions for the group.
#1 - I'm looking to use some GSM SIM cards with my Asterisk PBX. Can
anyone recommend a gateway? I need about 10-15 SIM slots.
#2 - I'm also looking to connect Asterisk to an SS7 signaled DS1 (24
channels) for inbound and outbound voice calls. Can anyone

Counting any open source package is difficult for many reasons.

In regard to #2, any T1 card should work. But the problem is you need SS7
software and SS7 connectivity in addition to the T1 card.

Sangoma has both - the card and the software. I think you have to
dedicate a box to SS7 though...
