Hi Christian,

problems. It took me a while to configure it.
I downloaded from Nokia a file (dont remember the name now, I am not on my
pc at them moment) that added more features such as g729 etc. it is working
great.

Guys...just a quick one:
There is weird behaviour in aah where if you set it up to answer the fxo
lines (I have 4 in this test box) using the digital receptionist to play a
message...sometimes it plays the message and sometimes it doesn't. If you
look at the console the call continues with the
Thanks Vamsi for your feedback.

if someone asks a
question via chat the speaker might get it when he is on another
topic.
But I would love to make Asterisk work. I am not giving up on it and
that's why Im on this list.
Take care and I will let you know how it turns out and / or if I need
help with a solution.

Hi List,
I am looking for some advice. I need to come up with a conference
solution that will allow users to join mainly to listen to a guy talk
about a product for an hour. My main concern is the client side. I
need people from within firewalls to be able to join the conference
with speakers
to a 4 port fxo digium
card. Configure the extentions on the pbx to be forwarded to that
group of 4 lines if they are busy or an-answered.
Hope it helps.

That's it.
If you need some help let us know. We are in Argentina.

Dear Marco,
I am also interested in QSIG and Asterisk. I need to have Asterisk
register to a huge Avaya pbx for call center connectivity.
Please let me know if you find out anything.
Best regards,

Here are some ideas Michael...this is what I've done with my box and
it works just fine.
Put into your /etc/rc.d/rc.local o /etc/rc.d/rc.modules file the following:
Modprobe wcfxo
Modprobe zaptel
ztcfg
safe_asterisk
Give it a try!
