Hi all,
I'm having trouble with voicemail on my *NOW 1.5/FreePBX box. I have enabled
voicemail in the extensions area, and set the default password. However,
every time I try to log in with a mailbox and password, I get the message
login incorrect. I've tried changing the voicemail password, and

Hi all,
On my *NOW beta box, I was able to assign an IVR an extension (801, etc.)
With the new 1.5 *NOW and freepbx, I can create an IVR, but how do I assign
it an extension, so I can dial or transfer users to that IVR? Thanks in
advance for the help. I checked the freepbx docs but didn't find any
Hi All,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my new *NOW setup.
I've downloaded and installed *NOW 1.5. We're using 1 SIP Trunk from
SimpleSignal.com. Outbound calling works great, but I'm having some trouble
with inbound calls.
First, we would get the the number you have dialed is not in

context=phones
host=dynamic
secret=1234
*For both [101] and [102]
And this to my sip.conf:
[101]
callerid=Zaheer Master 5168224466
type=friend
nat=yes
secret=1234
context=default
host=dynamic
qualify=yes
Am I missing something else? Thanks in advance for the help
Hi All,
Does anyone know of a good virtual appliance for Asterisk under VMware?
I am very interested in the JEOS concept for reducing the attack surface
of a machine, so I think an appliance might be a good way to do this. BTW,
I'll be using this with direct SIP Trunking and Snom 370/360 IP
I suppose the VMware image of AsteriskNow is a good place to start? I just
found this and I think it answers my question :)

Zaheer,
this post did show up on the 11th, I am guessing few

Hi all,
If I have 2 single-line SIP phones, I can still do a conference call using
Asterisk, right? For example, two people in my office are on the call, along
with 1 other person at a remote site.

Hi,
I am going to setting up an asterisk setup similar to yours. I talked to the
folks at bandwidth.com and they SIP trunking for $25/mo/line with 2000
minutes per line. I haven't tried their service yet though, so I can't say
how the quality is.

Zaheer
