we want to setup an Asterisk on Debian Wheezy.
There will arrive at least 500 parallel calls. All of them we set to parking.
Then the receive a playback.
After a certain time, we will pick up one caller. All the other calls will be
cancelled now.
Can Asterisk handle this or are there

dynamic feature in features.conf for the DMTF sequence *# which called a
macro in extensions.conf, which then runned the ParkAndAnnounce
I have converted the normal Park application and I can only alert you about
the syntax change. I suspect also in the ParkAndAnnounce command, the
parameters are ordered completely different.

I'm trying to implement parking with only one button to park and unpark a call.
Scenario:
Call is answered, I press the button (on a Cisco SPA504) to park the call, it
comes to [from-office] context where the call is parked successfully (there is
no parking lot number announcement though).
Hmmm, do I understand you correctly that you park and unpark a call using the
same phone?
If yes, why does simply holding the call does not work? The SPA504 has an extra large button
on the right for this and you don't need any support in the dialplan.

This seems to be an AGI/Music on Hold solution to me. For parking to work,
you would have to know which lot you parked the call in and pick it back up
when done, assuming that another user did not pick it up

I can get it to park calls, but it will not announce what parking space all
in the same cycle, I can't see how this is useful is you have to transfer to
park it, then dial another extension just to see where it was parked!

You can do it using a redirect with extrachannel, but last time I
checked it would announce the parking slot to the caller rather than the
person who parks

I have just been playing with parking..
And well, I am having problems.
Following the wiki,
I have features.conf set up as..

If you are finding that the # key does nothing, then the transfer
feature of the Dial app is not working for you. This feature is not
related to call parking.
Check that your dial statement (when coming in from outside) uses the
correct case of t :-

If I have multiple extension contexts for different businesses sharing
an * pbx, and I include = parkedcalls in each of these separate
contexts, would someone at biz-1 be able to pick up a parked call that
someone in biz-2 parked? I _don't_ want this to happen -- I'd like to
