Are you running vga=normal in your lilo.conf? (disable frame buffer) and running kernel WITHOUT apic and acpi support? (append='noapic acpi=off"). Making these changes, and disabling all other unused resources (to eliminiate IRQ sharing) got me to 100% consistently on a DELL 2850. -- =
