Look at the description below and tell me where you see a kernel module
listed?

FYI
It takes only no time (1-2 minutes) to compile a fresh zaptel on Debian. That is
- if you have the source tree in /usr/src/linux and everything ready for
compiling in general.
Just get the source and do:
make clean
make
make install
Then modprobe for zaptel should work fine.

Hi
If you want debian packaged kernel modules, you need to fetch
zaptel-source and compile that against your running kernel.
Then you will have a deb package you can load and modprobe.
