They are telling us they will give us 1 line number but we can have 5
concurrent incoming and outgoing line numbers. Charge is about $45 +
extras - this seems considerable less expensive than the competition

Well, I'm pretty sure they're using SIP, since the SIPura SPA-2000 is
also supported. I asked them outright if they would provide SIP
credentials -- and I'd hope they would. I currently have broadvoice,
sipgate and vonage's SoftPhone service working on my
