What's the situation with configuring Asterisk to handle videoconferencing over a community wireless intranet? I found a "radio" at www.ubnt.com that is called, Nanostation2. It has a range up to 15 kilometers, and sells for a mere $80.
Seems like a really low-cost community wireless network (intranet) that doesn't need Internet access could be set up. The community could then use Asterisk for videoconferencing for a community wide garage sale "tour" each week. Any pointers on what would be needed to do this appreciated.
