When I hit *1 in my system, I got a beep to let me know that the recording started. Is this not happenning to you? No ! , it doesn't. Most of the time it doesn't pick up the *1. ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com --

I have exactly the same problem - attended transfer (*2) is the same - sometimes asterisk just generates the DTMF tome for * followed by the number instead of interpreting the command. Are there any DTMF configuration settings that can be tweaked? How does Asterisk decide is a key sequence
