I need to update my Asterisk server that runs all my phones inorder to
install a kernel update that fixes
Another concern I have on this front is that it seems like some updates require
an asterisk restart rather than just issueing a reload command from the *
console. This that correct, or I am just not running the system correctly? For
instance it seems like I couldn't get zapata.conf changes to

Note that IAX and IAX2 are both UDP.
Anyways, I only have ssh,
Is there a way to reload a module from the console, so that we could isolate
the amount of failure is necessary for these types of changes? For me this
would be a pretty big improvement in reliability, although I may just see it
that way because I am still figuring out configurations.
I will

Quoting Steven Critchfield [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
If you come at your install with a couple of computers, you can have a
similar effect. My main asterisk machine has the PRI attached to it.
This machine does little work, and receives next to no upgrades. It was
locked down and does just PSTN

would consider happening on a regular basis with a voip enable system,
