Hi,
I am planning to move Asterisk from physical server to a VM on a ESXi host.
VMware datastore / VM's will be stored on the shared storage on the NAS
(NSF). I might get Synology NAS.
Do you store call live recording on the NAS? There would be around 60
concurrent calls recording at the same
Hello.
Continue to move from chan_sip to res_pjsip.
For the work of my algorithms is very important to know the IP address
of all trunks and endpoints (phones).
In the case of chan_sip, I used PeerStatus AMI event through which was
received the fact of online/offline and IP Address of

Hi,
I have the following code that operates when a channel is hung-up:
[record-hangupcause]
exten => 1,n,Set(CDR(hangupcause)=${HANGUPCAUSE})
exten => s,n,Return()
Dear colleagues,
I have made fairly complex dialplan which uses REGEXP matching for allowing or
disallowing certain calls, depending on the called extension. This works great
so far, but there is one problem which I wasn't able to solve:
The plan does not handle all possible extensions a user
You can use this
exten => h,1,Set(CDR(userfield)=Hangupcause:${HANGUPCAUSE})

This was always possible in the past, however does not work in the current
release.
I believe this is a bug.

Hi Andrew,
Unfortunately that has stopped working when using chan_pjsip and asterisk 13.
The CDR is closed too early after a dial attempt. This is the expected
behaviour for Asterisk 13, however you should be able to set the variable
before the CDR is locked/committed and before another dial

Hello.
Recently I installed voipmonitor and voipmonitor-gui trial version.
After examining it, I was amazed at the abundance of useful information
that can and should be obtained from the work of Asterisk.
1. The cost voipmonitor-gui too expensive and not justified in my case.
