Hi,
I had this problem once before.
It was related to running asterisk as a non root user.
I think if you run asterisk as root your problems will
go away.
OR
you can change the permissions on the /var/run
directory to 777 and the
problem might be solved too.

forcing some IRQs to
become free and automatically linux assigned the
Digium TE205P card to one
of the freed IRQs.
These 2 steps solved my problems with the E1 line and
things became much
more stable.

Hi,
I have an asterisk server with 2 NIC cards.
The problem is that I have to use both NIC cards for
SIP calls.
I need to receive the calls from NIC #1 and send the
calls to NIC #2.
Any ideas on haw I can do that?

Why not use use voicemail odbc storage engine and it will store your voicemail
files is MySQL as BLOBs
