[Asterisk-Users] FXS with v.90 modem support?

2006-02-06 Thread Dustin Wenz
can't find any reference to that in their documentation. There is also the VegaStream Vega 50 that claims to support v.90 on 8 FXS ports per unit. Does anyone have experience with these devices, or can recommend anything else? - .Dustin Wenz

We are running Asterisk on Mac OS X Server as our office PBX. MOH seems to work just fine out of the box. I believe I had to install the addons package before it would work. This was somewhat annoying to work on because I actually had to stop and restart asterisk for changes in

Our company's PBX is running Asterisk 1.2 under OS X Server and it's been pretty reliable for the 50+ extensions that we have. The system has an uptime of 245 days, and no one has ever reported dropped calls or any other disturbing behavior. The reason we're using OS X instead of Linux is

The ZIP2 does DHCP out of the box. So if it's new, all you have to do is plug it in and it will get an address from your DHCP server. Run an nmap scan in your DHCP range to find it if you don't know what address was assigned; the MAC will probably start with "00:01:e1". From there you can use the
