RE: [Asterisk-Users] broadvoice NCFA numbers
call for you. Broadvoice is having issues. For me inbound calling is down (this is day two). Their mantra is : We are currently experiencing in-bound call issues with a carrier partner in some areas. We are aware of the issue and our engineers are working to have it resolved as soon as possible. I've been on hold for over an hour. I'm starting to have doubts that there is anyone answering calls there. Im about to drop their service; looking for another service that allows asterisk and has in bound AZ 480 dids right now. It should say And our ENGINEER not ENGINEERS are hiding under their desk hoping the problem will go away, we highly doubt to have this resolved within a week, please don't call, we don't answer out phones ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Dialing out from remote.
I'm attempting the following set up. During Hours - Receptionist Takes the call (no problem works great) After hours I would like to add a item to the receptionist to transfer the call to my cell, any direction would be a great help. I have 4 PSTN incoming lines as backup and Voicepulse. ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

I switched from Broadvoice to VoicePulse because users were complaining about call quality. Now, the quality is good -- when it doesn't drop altogether. What could be worse than touting your new VoIP system to a client and having it drop the call? -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Wiley Siler Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 12:32 PM To: Trevor Harrison; Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] BYOD provider other than broadvoice Hmmm... Think I would prefer something harder to get provisioned but that doesn't drop calls. Your users must be forgiving as hell... Mine would show up with pitchforks and torches if calls dropped regularly. They get twitchy if the calls just vary too much in quality... 8) Cheers, Wiley -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Trevor Harrison Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 8:45 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] BYOD provider other than broadvoice On 4/21/05, Adam Robins [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I drop every 3-4 call with VoicePulse Connect. Greg, Are you using AMP? And If so, you have any tips and tricks on how to easily manage phones via a amp plugin/fix? - Original Message - From: Greg Boehnlein [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Sent: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 2:37 PM Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] SIP Phone Compatability On Wed, 20 Apr 2005, Daniel Salama wrote: Every once in a while I read messages about people having problems with certain models of SIP phones, some of them being well known models. I'm interested in purchasing new SIP phones for my office and wanted to know which brand/model is most stable with Asterisk, which allows most office features. These features should include: multiple-line appearances (at least 3), call conference, blind and non-blind transfer, memory buttons or speed dials, voice message light indicator, speaker phone, mute, redial, caller-id display. Anything on top of these features is a plus but not really a requirement. I've had very good luck with the Polycom SoundPoint IP 500 phones. They are rock solid, have great speakerphones, all of the features you list and more... Work just great with Asterisk. My clients love them, and at $185 / phone it is hard to beat. -- Vice President of N2Net, a New Age Consulting Service, Inc. Company http://www.n2net.net Where everything clicks into place!
