[asterisk-users] Voicemail crashs asterisk

Hi guys,
I have the following problem:
My System: asterisk 1.8.11.0 on debian squeeze
I login to my mailbox from voicemailmain.
Once I am logged in, I get my number of messages announced.
I change the directory of old messages 2 times in a row: 2 1 2 1.
Asterisk exits completely.
Can your help please?

[asterisk-users] Problem callerid ignored by using callfiles

hi all,
the same problem for a long time.
i upgraded now from 1.8.8.2 to 1.8.9.1.
I generate a callfile with the option:
Callerid: test Callback Service 00498925007676

The callback is established correctly, but the variable ${CALLERID(num):} is 
empty

no  output: NoOp(Calleridnumber: ${CALLERID(num):} can be found.
I don.t find my test Callback Service 00498925007676 on the cli or as
DumpChan().
Under the 1.8.8.2 version still has it all works.
has something changed?

Can you help please?

[asterisk-users] asterisk 1.8X problem: no outbound callerid set in callfiles

Hi all,
Probably my message disappeared.
I updated  from 1.4.42 to 1.8.4.4 and 1.8.5-rc1.
The problem is the same:
I generate a callfile with the option:
Callerid: test Callback Service 4711
The callback is established correctly, but the variable ${CALLERID(num):} is 
empty.

I don.t find: test Callback Service 4711
on the DumpChan() or cli, or Master.csv.
Under the previous version (1.4.X) still has it all works fine.
Is this an undiscovered error?
In order to exclude errors, I have to compare the syntax in
sample.ccal.
Can your help please?

Hi, i found 2 bugs in asterisk 1.2.0rc1.
I using debian stable.
I start asterisk with:
/usr/sbin/asterisk -U thomas
or an different user,
Asterisk is starting. 
Autodialing are Ignored. 
(/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing).
Asterisk ignore to dial a Number / Extension, automaticlly. 

When i start asterisk 
as: su thomas
/usr/sbin/asterisk
All autodialings  are going on.

bug 2 in meetme

i press * and hear the prompt, the prompt is playing and i press 8 to 
exit,
i can.t hear any poeple in the conference. 
all poeple can hear me.

[Asterisk-Users] Question to authenficate client automaticlly

Hi, i have setting up asterisk for mysql. i using the template-database: 
sipfriends.

i have a vpn in the office. i like to setup asterisk:
when a client make authentification request: username and password stores 
automaticlly in the sql database.

any users in the vpn can setup the own name and password.
how can setup mysql when come
user: test
and secret: test
will be stored?

Hi, i have a problem:
asterisk 1.0.3 is my current version.
 i copy from asterisk-sources:
 contrib/scripts/retrieve_sip_conf_from_mysql.pl
 in my /usr/asterisk/etc/asterisk directory. I edit this script and remove 
-T -option 
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
 i create the  mysql database:
 mysqladmin create sip
 i pasted the example-table in the database:
CREATE TABLE sip (
id INT(11) DEFAULT -1 NOT NULL,
keyword VARCHAR(20) NOT NULL,
data VARCHAR(50) NOT NULL,
flags INT(1) DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (id,keyword)
);
i settingup res_odbc.conf  as follows:
[mysql]
dsn = sip
username = root
password =
pre-connect = yes

 i add the following line in the sip.conf file:
 #include = retrieve_sip_conf_from_mysql.pl
Asterisk is started with: -c
the  asterisk output is:
   == Parsing '/usr/asterisk/etc/asterisk/sip.conf': Found
   == Parsing '/usr/asterisk/etc/asterisk/= 
 retrieve_sip_conf_from_mysql.pl': Not
  found (No such file or directory)
why can't find asterisk the perl-script? 

 mysql authentification  is not working in asterisk.
 what can i do please? 
mysql and the template-database are success installed.

[Asterisk-Users] Problems to use asterisk with mysql /odbc

hi, i.m. newbie in asterisk. asterisk 1.0.3 is my current version.  
i like to store usernames and passwords in a sql database.
i like to log failed authentification-passwords, to create a blacklist for 
securityreasons.
i thingk a sql-database is a good way to log these actions.
i don.t find debugging-options to output invalid login-passwords. 

Ok, i  have made the following:
 debian is my OS. mysql is installed and working.
i has compiled astersk as follows:
Modefying:
/usr/src/asterisk-1.0.3/channels/Makefile
USE_MYSQL_FRIENDS=1
USE_SIP_MYSQL_FRIENDS=1

make, and:  make install are correctly.

i have probed many choises:
chois1:

i has create a database sipfriends:
mysqladmin create sipfriends
the database:

 CREATE TABLE Sipfriends (
   Name varchar(40)  NULL default '',
   Secret varchar(40)  NULL default '',
   Context varchar(40)  NULL default '',
  Username varchar(40) default '',

paddr varchar(20)  NULL default '',
   Port int(6)  NULL default '0',
   Regseconds int(11)  NULL default '0',
  PRIMARY KEY  (Name)
 ) TYPE=MyISAM;

i setting up:
/usr/asterisk/etc/asterisk/res_odbc.conf
[mysql]
dsn = sipfriends
username = root
password =
pre-connect = yes

it is not sql-password set. i have only access to this machine.

asterisk can't authenficate users from the database.

chois2:
