A common issue you will have with FXO/PSTN lines with sip is echo. Test
thoroughly before you go live and have 20 people yelling, I can hear myself
talk.

Yes it does support a basic analog line (or many many lines...). It also
supports T1's, ISDN, etc. FXO would provide an analog connection to the phone
company (your wall jack)
FXS would allow you to plug analog phones into Asterisk.

Alberto,
Voice only conferencing - yes. Look for MeetMe in the wiki.
MeetMe lets you set up a conference room at say ext. 1234. Everyone then dials
that extension and joins the conference. You can also set it up with a room
password.
Hope that helps.

Tim,
I've experienced routing problems before where I could dial a phone on a
different subnet and I could hear them,
but they couldn't hear me. Is it possible that the phone learns the route,
then loses it later? I ended up setting
the default gateway on all of my phones to a router that
with the dial plan.

I haven't tried this myself, but I plan to soon.
