[Asterisk-Users] how to optimize sip??
I remember reading somewhare that you should disable as many unused codecs on sip phones as possible to reduce bandwidth. I'm not sure what I have to do for each type of device I'm using. I have 2 sipura-2000's and 2 Grandstream BudgeTone 100's and a sipura-3000, and a few Xlite PC clients. What do I need to do for each device to reduce the overhead, and disable codecs that I'm not using. What codecs should I be using? [Asterisk-Users] PIX Firewall configuration??
I'd like to open up my firwall so that I can connect my SIP phones to a test server behind or firewall. I can configure an outside addtess to pass traffic to the internal address of the Asterisk server. I'm not sure what other ports need to be opened. My SIP phone will either be at my home behind a linksys cable/dsl router or perhaps at a hotel when I'm on the road. What am I missing in this configuration? Is STUN needed? [Asterisk-Users] CISC PIX Settings

Depends on the version... 6.3 is fully SIP aware, so no special NAT rules or STUN are needed. [Asterisk-Users] Support for Dialogic 4 or Dialogic Proline2V
Has anyone written any drivers for ISA bus Dialogic Proline 2v or Dialogic 4 cards?
