No, only CALLERID(num). I'm presently looking into the possibility of
supporting that in the future, though.

[asterisk-users] ANI with Pickup application

2009-03-16 Thread Christophorus Laube
Hi,

does anyone of you have made it to get the ANI also picked up? I mean:
if I fetch a foreign call to me by using the pickup application I want
to see the callerID/ANI of the caller to the foreign extension. Is that
possible and if yes - how do I achieve that?

using SIP P-asserted ids and asterisk 1.6.1, this shoulld be possible to get
CallerID (I've never tried it yet).

Hallo Ralf,

das ist die Antwort von der Liste. Klingt etwas vage und nicht absolut
erfolgversprechend...
abgeraten.
Gruß, Christophorus

[asterisk-users] ANI agi

2006-08-04 Thread Sharon Lim
I am trying to do a simple agi connection to db with the guidance from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+AGI+php Item 13 with ani.agi file, db and
extensions.conf13. another sample,  ANI

Scenario - did callers call the Asterisks box and land on
the context did, Asterisks answers the call and then execute the script
ani.agi. This script will connect to mysql and see whether originators
phone number(caller ID) is already in the database. If it exists, then
agi.script will pass the control back to dial plan. Dial plan now will
progress the call. If the caller ID does not exists, ani.agi will pass
the control to the dial plan as un authenticated call.

ani.agi
#!/usr/local/bin/php-q
?php
ob_implicit_flush(true);
set_time_limit(6);
$in=fopen(php://stdin,r);

$stdlog=fopen(/var/log/asterisk/my_agi.log,w);
i have put the value of the callerid i called frm assume then when i do debug i got the callerid in agi but seem that ani.agi is not working cause is asking for password. From my understanding, if the callerid is in the db then it will not ask to authenticate right? anything missing here?
THanks in advance.

[Asterisk-Users] ANI configuration

2006-03-03 Thread Nripendra Srivastava

DearAll,

We are using asterisk sip server and
integrate it with Cisco gateway, we are having the problem in ANI configuration
in sip-server. Please give us some example for ANI configuration which will
send the request to Voice Gateway.

Your Prompt reply is highly appreciated.

[Asterisk-Users] ANI DNIS sent to analog FXs Port Possible

2005-03-19 Thread Ronald Hartmann
Good Day list,

Need assistance determining the best place to read up on whether
Asterisk can help me out.

I have a situation where I need to do the following

PRI from Telco ---
Analog Channel BankProprietary Box
|
|
|
|
|
|
PRI Port 1 of
Digium Quad T1 PRI Port 2 of Digium Quad T1

|
|

|
|

|
|

-Asterisk Box with Quad T1--

|

|

|

---

|   |   |
|

|   |   |
|

ext. 100ext. 101ext 102 ext 103

A standard T1 or PRI service are both digital and require to be
converted to Analog to work onto the Proprietary System, as the need to
receive analog with the DNIS and ANI information is important a product
must be used which will allow for this.

YUCK The Lucent G3, Intertel and Comdial switches are capable./YUCK
I want to put Asterisk in here

All PBX switches must have the capability of passing the DNIS (DID) and
ANI information onto an FSX analog port, please check your current
switch or talk to your provider.

My question is :

Am I correct in thinking that I can have asterisk answer the
incoming call from telco on the PRI, Grab the ANI/DNIS Information and
then route it to a channel back via a second PRI Port and have the
channel bank pass the ANI/DNIS of the original caller oout to the
proprietary box in an analog fashion?

My understanding is that the Proprietary box does its magic and then
would need to transfer the call back to a Specific user on the PBX via
flash hook transfer.

If I am on the right track can anyone point me in direction of channel
backs that will accept Digital PRI/T1 connection on the front and
Analog connection on the back?

Is there a better way to do this? Maybe a Sip Analog Gateway?

Anyways, thanks for your help in sorting through this with me.

Re: [Asterisk-Users] ANI DNIS sent to analog FXs Port Possible

2005-03-19 Thread Craig Guy
Asterisk (at least stable v1.06) does not seem to support DNIS. - DNIS and
$EXTEN are not the same thing.

We have discovered this recently where we had a block of telephone numbers
in Adelaide diverted to a second block of numbers in Perth. $EXTEN in
asterisk showed the local Perth number rather than the Adelaide number
originally dialled by the caller. $RDNIS also failed to show the original
Adelaide dialled number. The setup we have is where the E1 from the telco
connects to span 1 on the TE405 and then span 2 connects to a Dialogic E1
board. If we dial the call through from span 1 to span 2 without answering
it, the DNIS variable on the dialogic shows the correct DNIS number - ie the
Adelaide one. So to me it demonstrates that at keast zaptel or libpri is
aware of the DNIS, it just doesn't seem to make it available to Asterisk.

Craig

2004-04-22 Thread Linus Surguy
 So.. Maybe I can get it on PRI by having it appended to the DNIS (as per
 Ryan Tucker's reply).. or maybe through some other kind of T1 arrangement
 that isn't PRI? Excuse my ignorance here but back in Europe it's pretty
much
 primary rate ISDN or nothing, the whole 17 flavours of T1 is a bit of an
 unknown..

You're lucky that time has caused some standardisation, it was only a few
years ago that here in Europe we had to deal with PRI in forms of DASS/2,
Euro-ISDN, DPNSS ,1TR6, VN5... etc etc...

There is no IE ( information element) in the isdn setup for this

RE: [Asterisk-Users] ANI II/Payphone indication

2004-04-21 Thread Paul Crick
  Quickie: Does anyone out there have experience with PRI
  delivery of ANI II information?

 Our carrier appends it to the DNIS. For instance, if I
 call from my cellphone, we get:
 877852000263
 Where 8778520002 is the dialed number, and 63 are the info
 digits.

So your carrier provides you with 12 digit DNIS? Is this something special,
achieved after a bit of nudging and winking at your friendly CO technician,
or is it a standard service offering? Any magic words/incantations used to
get this feature?

I'm curious as to your provider too..

Looks exactly like what I'm looking for though - thanks!

 Quickie: Does anyone out there have experience with PRI delivery of ANI II
 information?

Our carrier appends it to the DNIS. For instance, if I call from my
cellphone, we get:

877852000263

Where 8778520002 is the dialed number, and 63 are the info digits. We can
then match like:

exten = _8778520002.,1,Whatever()

Works remarkably well :-)  -rt

RE: [Asterisk-Users] ANI/DNIS call routing

2003-08-14 Thread McAughan, Matt
Title: ANI/DNIS call routing

Someone please double check me then forgive me for answering my own
question.

If we have PRI service and multiple 800 numbers come in over the circuit
the DNIS will be reference as the extension in the dial plan? So for example if
we had 1-800-745-8765 and DNIS configured as the last four digits, then we could
configure extensions.conf in the appropriate context as follows...

exten = 8765,1,Answer
exten = 8765,2,Queue(my_queue|t)

Right?

  Can someone in Asterisk'land subscribing to 800 service

  group to all land in the same queue. So I guess I am asking how to perform
  DNIS/ANI based call routing?

 Take out the _. rule and just leave it 4044633 and it should work fine.

That did it. Works great! Thanks.

 Not postive the _ is required on matching the callerid part, but honestly
 i just don't remember.

It _is_ required.

[Asterisk-Users] ANI matching trouble

2003-05-29 Thread Jim Gottlieb
Hi. I need to send calls to different programs depending on where the
call originates. For example, I need calls from San Diego (NPA 619 and
858) to to be routed differently than L.A. calls. I tried entries like:

exten = 4044633/_619.,1,OurApp,sandiego-queue
exten = 4044633/_858.,1,OurApp,sandiego-queue
exten = 4044633/_213.,1,OurApp,losangeles-queue
exten = 4044633/_.,1,OurApp,default-queue

but it didn't seem to work. Every call went to the default queue.

I also tried
exten = 4044633/_619XXX,1,OurApp,sandiego-queue
to no avail.

It did work if I put a specific number in there:
exten = 4044633/6193644788,1,OurApp,sandiego-queue

but of course I can't list every possible number.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks...

I don't think you can use wildcards in the ANI matching areas, though
I'd be happy if this were the case.

You'll probably need to write an AGI that hands back an appropriate
variable set to something that a Goto can parse.

The use of wildcards in ANI matches would be darn handy, though.

I was just thinking that. Shouldn't this be a feature?
I'm sure coding it would be a cut and past job. :)

Another one for the TO-DO list Mark.

Shouldn't the priority also be different for each entry?

This would make it:

exten = 4044633/_619.,1,OurApp,sandiego-queue
exten = 4044633/_858.,2,OurApp,sandiego-queue
exten = 4044633/_213.,3,OurApp,losangeles-queue
exten = 4044633,4,OurApp,default-queue
This should work I would think. Give it a shot, if it
doesn't remove the _'s from the ANI pattern.
