We noticed a little while ago (and again just recently) that some of
our Asterisk boxes after a "proper" restart (shutdown -r now) weren't
processing calls correctly (some call types did work, some didn't).
One thing that fixed the problem quickly was to issue an "asterisk -rx
dialplan
