Re: [Asterisk-Users] Best BootRom SIP Code for Poly600?
Not sure if you got hte info but Bootrom 3.0.1, basically once you install it, you can't go back. So no going back to 2.6.1. Now iwth the SIP Image, 1.5.2 seems a little bit better than 1.4.1. The menus have definitely changed for the better and are more intuitive to use. With SIP images, you can go from 1.5.2 to 1.4.1 so there's no danger in trying out 1.5.2 and seeing hw you like it. Hope this helps. I'm currently running BootRom2.6.1 with SIP1.5.2. no problems so far. According to the wiki, it looks like it's recommended to run BootRom 2.6.1 and SIP 1.4.1. Is that info still current, or is it safe to upgrade to 3.0.1 and 1.5.2? 1.5.1/1.5.2 also support disabling call waiting too, Min Hwan Chang wrote: Not sure if you got hte info but Bootrom 3.0.1, basically once you install it, you can't go back. So no going back to 2.6.1. I'm using bootrom 2.6.1 with 1.5.2 for the same reason. I would suggest the upgrade to 1.5.2 for some non trivial enhancements such as multiple line/call appearance. Also the menu system is significantly improved.
