Shouldn't that read:
exten = 231,1,Dial(Zap/g1/231,30)
Now it should be 30 seconds, which should be 30/6 or about 5 rings.

extension, but it just keeps ringing
On the * console, set verbose 100, and post here the output when you try
dialing
