Why would you want to even bother testing EOL products, such as 1.4x and 1.6.x.x? Although I am a 1.4 Luddite, I really don't quite understand why you can't test with 1.8.x or 10, where you mihgt have a hope of getting something fixed if there is a problem, unless you already KNOW there is an issue with later versions.
