I have an interesting problem with httpd when used for an XML GET from
Aastra 5 series IP phones. I am doing some really cool things with XML on
these phones which I am happy to share if anyone else is using them (e.g.
displaying text on the phone from within the dialplan, automatic
registration of the extension/MAC in the AST database).
Unfortunately when I do a GET, I get an error on the phones display. It
appears through Ethereal samples that although it is a legal TCP structure,
httpd sends the header in one packet and the rest of the data in another. I
think this is what is confusing the phones as the exact same XML file works
when sent in all one packet.
I intend on reporting this problem to Aastra because it should work however
in the meantime does anyone have any work arounds I can try.
Regards
Mike
