Eric,
Was this (https CURL) working with another Asterisk 1.4 setup? Of so, did
you disable certificate verification (ie. curl --insecure) or install certs?
This may help to understand...

It would be very helpful to know what version of AstLinux you are using.

Hello All,
I can't seem to get curl working no matter what I try. I know that
astlinux supports it, but I always get this:
[Nov 28 15:41:48] ERROR[1844]: func_curl.c:166 acf_curl_exec: Cannot
allocate curl structure
When I do this:

Nedi,
For the 1000th time, astlinux 0.4.5 is obsolete. It's based on old
versions of software that are not supported. Please update to a newer
version of Astlinux if you want any help. 0.6.7 is the latest version.

That is brilliant - I've been trying to do that for nearly a year now ;)
Thanks !
Now, for the final piece of my jigsaw
Per someone's request in irc, I added the curl binary to default builds
of trunk. This does add a total of about 300K to the system, but does
add quite a bit of functionality. I won't be adding this to Astlinux
0.6.x. I don't think that 0.7.0 will be too far down the road though.

As requested on the astlinux irc, here's my config files for curl:
This allows me to get my extensions and sip peers as a static file from
a server on the network. It also allows me to use voicemail, queues and
queuemembers as realtime.
