Tom,
Maybe you have a typo, the user.conf via the web interface should contain:

I recently upgraded to astlinux-0.7.7 (Asterisk 1.4.40) and I am using a
Sangoma A200 w/ FXO ports for my analog calls. I would like to test the OSLEC
echo cancellation because I am experiencing a minor echo problem when using
this board (no echo problems with calls using my SIP provider). After
Fantastic. I am looking forward to it. I am running slightly. Older 0.7.3 as
long as the upgrade is smooth I don't mind testing as it is now it is not
very good.

Good news, it appears "dahdi_echocan_oslec" will be included in the upcoming
0.7.6 release, likely to be released within a week.
After the future upgrade to 0.7.6, simply add "dahdi_echocan_oslec" to your
DAHDIMODS variable and define /mnt/kd/dahdi/system.conf appropriately.

I looked into this and the DAHDI build needs a little tweaking for the
"dahdi_echocan_oslec" to get built, but looks fairly straight forward. I'll
try to make it work.

OSLEC would be a very useful addition to AstLinux, especially since
HPEC is currently not an option.
Doubly so since I'm having serious trouble with a VPMADT032 module in an
AEX800 at present and our local Digium reseller seems to have an
aversion to answering their phones at present.

David,
You would need to enable oslec and recompile. We can look at including it in
future builds.

Try building without oslec. I'm building on a 64bit machine and I'll

Jonathan,
Yes. oslec is enabled (by default with make oldconfig) for any
zaptel devices.
That's a good notice. I'll start compiling asterisk-beta this afternoon. Is
OSLEC enabled also for zaptel?

Hello everyone,
oslec:
http://www.rowetel.com/ucasterisk/oslec.html
has been enabled in trunk and asterisk-beta. Some of the
implementation isn't perfect (yet), but it should compile just fine
for anyone. If you'd like to give it a try the other developers and I
would really appreciate it!
Please check svn.astfin.org svn.rowetel.com is an alias. David seems
to be having some problems but astfin's svn is up and running

do we have any options to have OSLEC in AstLinux?
That would be grate for those of us who have X100P cards or similar
