Just my 2 cents Stay away from making your PBX a file server File
servers are CPU and memory bound you will kill your astlinux system if you
where to do that And I mean asterisk will suffer performance wise
Synology is a good nas... Or you can do freenas.

The netatalk AFP server stuff would need to be added to Astlinux. Which I
don't think has been tried yet?

I am looking at creating a NAS of some sort for centralised Mac TimeMachine
backups of a couple of Macs I have in the office. I dont have a server and dont
really need one.
