I would like to share a problem I hit when trying to install runnix
images from Windows recently. Obviously this does not involve low-level
writing of an image files - I am talking about uncompressing/unpacking a
.tar.gz to get the .run and its associated files out ready for copying
over to the os directory.

Note that some versions of WinZip have a really helpful 'convert LF to
CRLF' option which is set by default and hidden away on the options tag.

If you use this it will screw up at least the sha file and the .conf
file and your system will not boot.

Guess who found out the hard way :-)
