I finally received (and installed) my Sangoma S518 card, and installed
it... But it doesn't seem to be auto-configuring.

You should put your SSH keys in "/mnt/kd

I was wondering how the keydisk works, anyway. Does it rebind
mount-points to overlay the root filesys
