good news: I searched for my old i2004 and found it in the garage :-).
I set it up and it works fine for me. I'm running Asterisk 1.8.10.0-rc1,
but I don't think that it makes much difference regarding chan_unistim.

my system. I managed to configure the phone, register it to Asterisk, but
am finding that on sending/receiving a call Asterisk is actually crashing!
