It is back in the SVN now, and will be in the next version.

Hello,
First of all please excuse to return on this old thread - we forget to
confirm that the driver was working well in 0.7.0 astlinux version
(Asterisk 1.4.29, Linux 2.6.27.29-astlinux).

Could you check it?
Best regards,
Ioan.

Stay tuned when new 0.7-beta builds are created.

Hi Lonnie,
Taking into consideration Philip's comment could you try to add the
r6040 module to 0.7 image?
Best regards,
Ioan

If someone, however, is feeling lucky, they're welcome to try them.

Hello Lonnie,
Thank you for checking it. I am hoping to have a positive answer from

Ioan,
It appears that the "CONFIG_R6040" was not available in the 0.6 kernel, and is
marked as (EXPERIMENTAL) in the 0.7 kernel, linux-2.6.27.29.
RDC R6040 Fast Ethernet Adapter support (EXPERIMENTAL)
I'll let it up to other Dev's to determine if this is a 'safe' addition to the
