Lonnie, Polycom phones still can use ftp for provisioning. Not only that, they can write log files back to the central server which can prove helpful when troubleshooting an issue on a phone. As long as there's a way to enable this, I have no problem with it being disabled by default. Darrick

Thanks Darrick, Polycom phones writing logs back via FTP is interesting, new web interface support for FTPD_WRITE [ read/write, read-only ] might be handy for disallowing writing in case you forgot to disable that feature in a phone. We'll also be adding support for editing a custom /mnt/kd/vsf
